On Thursday, February 22, WCMS celebrated its study of Africa with a Circle Time during the day and an evening Culture Fair. At the morning Circle Time, students presented skits, choral readings, songs, and poems about Africa. In the evening, the WCMS Drum Group played in the  | | 5th graders show off their Africa project |
lobby, the 5th graders performed the play The Spirit of Rosa, and classrooms displayed their Africa projects. There were also activities such as adinkra making plus delicious food (chicken wings and sweet potato pie).
