At the first Circle Time, new students were welcomed to World Cultures
Magnet School. As part of the school's opening tradition, the
kindergarten classes marched in under a colorful archway created by the
6th graders. Then the kindergarten and pre-kindergarten classes as well
as the other students new to WCMS were introduced by name. Two 6th
graders spoke about the opportunities and responsibilites for those in
their final year at WCMS, then the 5th grade classes performed America the Beautiful in sign language.
