Three times a year, the RIF (Reading Is Fundamental) Program provides a
free book for all the students of WCMS. The children get to choose from
a huge selection of age appropriate books, then have their name put on
the book. These books give students a strong incentive to read  | | 1st graders read their new RIF books |
and
provide them with a sense of ownership of their reading materials.
Special thanks go to Mrs. Pershke, Library Media Specialist, who
organized the event and to Rita Voigt and Bill and Marianne Weyandt who
have volunteered at this event for the fourth straight year.
