Spring Culture Fair

On a beautiful spring day, World Cultures Magnet School celebrated its Americas Culture Fair with a day filled with activities. Mayor Chris Coleman came to the school for a presentation to Global Citizens and made the opening remarks at the morning Circle Time (see clips below). Many parents and friends visited classrooms to see student projects on the Americas and then stayed for the grilled hot dog picnic. Meanwhile, families for incoming kindergartners and early kindergartners stopped by to  register students. Finally, WCMS celebrated the 2nd anniversary of the  building of the playground (along with newer playground pieces added last year).
