The personable Tony Richardson chatted with the students not only about football (and the record-setting day Adrian Peterson just had) but also about the importance of education. Besides a Bachelor of Education degree, he also has earned an MBA. also helped coordinate last year's playground work) and Victor the Viking, the team's mascot.
This being an election day, the 3rd graders also discussed elections and the voting process with Roger Barr and General Election, the eagle mascot, from KidsVote St. Paul. They passed out voting booklets for the 3rd graders.
