Playground Gala & Silent Auction

AIMS 4th grade teacher Karen Fairbanks displays her beautiful first quilting effort The Playground Gala and Silent Auction was a great success and raised over $5,000 for the new playground. Held on Thursday evening, April 26, WCMS and AIMS co-sponsored this event. There was a delicious EA Sandy Wilson making an early bid on quilt dinner buffet, a tasty dessert and coffee bar, piano music by Kay Smith, and a fun Silent Auction. Special thanks to the extraordinary efforts of the WCMS and AIMS staffs and to the many companies and So many dessert choices... individuals who contributed auction items, food, and time to make this event such a success.
